Are any of you suffering hardships? You should pray. Are any of you happy? You should sing praises.
James 5:13 NLT
Earthquakes are hard to predict. Despite the cutting-edge technology we have today, experts can’t tell us when an earthquake will occur. But this doesn’t mean we don’t prepare for it. Our government institutions and some non-profit organizations give us safety tips that are helpful in times of need. You probably have experienced participating in earthquake drills and disaster preparedness seminars at school or office.
Our life has no drills. A bad day might come without a warning. A great day might come as a surprise. But we don’t have to face the day unprepared. The scripture is clear. In times of trouble, we should pray and in the good days, we should sing praises.
How are you doing today? Don’t panic. We have a good Father who listens to us 24/7.
Prayer
Our Father, You are Sovereign. We might not understand every situation but we trust You and Your plan. Help us get through our bad days. And thank You for blessing me, my family and my church. Sustain us with Your grace, in Jesus’ name. Amen
